Counselling

Counselling is based on building a strong and productive interpersonal relationship between an individual and their counsellor.

Counselling provides confidential support to people of all ages and backgrounds, so everything you discuss is private and safe from negativity, judgement or cultural misunderstanding.

Life can be complicated and it's easy to feel a bit lost. Anxiety, anger, depression, relationship problems and major life decisions are issues that can impact any of us – and you don't have to deal with them alone.

Whatever your situation, I will seek to support you and work to develop your own understanding and awareness.

My Approach

Counselling is based on building a strong and productive interpersonal relationship between an individual and their counsellor. My process involves exploring and resolving issues that are personal, in nature. Counselling provides confidential support to people of all ages and backgrounds, so everything you discuss is private and safe from negativity, judgement or cultural misunderstanding

My role as your counsellor is to help you develop the capacity for personal growth and change.  Responding to your needs I use a person-centred therapy and a solution focused approach to counselling, which is non-judgmental, empathetic, empowering and motivating to you as the individual to take back control and grow.

It is okay to take care of yourself and natural to want to live a happy, fulfilled and energised life. It takes tremendous strength to change and to live without anxiety, stress, depression, uncertainty and feeling overwhelmed by life.

In counselling, you talk, and I will patiently listen with compassion. We will explore what is causing your problems and talk about new strategies to overcome them. Your energy will grow, and anxiety and depression will shrink.
